Ready to sign up and begin your On-Ramp Classes?

There are 3 On Ramp Beginner Classes that are mandatory to attend.  These classes are included in your first months membership fee if you imageschoose a 1 year or 6 month plan.  If you choose the month-to-month payment plan the classes will be $75 for all three.  (Most CrossFit gyms charge $150 or more for these classes!)  These classes will get you familiar with the movements we teach in the daily workouts.  All three classes are required before coming to regular classes.  These classes will be taught in a small group. This class will typically be 1  1/2 hours long each and are taught on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights at 7:30 pm.  If the On Ramp schedule does not meet your schedule then we offer personal training.  We can make arrangements to meet with you for $25 a class.

 Why do I need the On-Ramp Classes?

CrossFit workouts utilize many different techniques that may not be familiar to everyone. By learning to execute these techniques correctly you will be able to workout successfully while avoiding injury and at the same time gradually ‘ramp up’ to condition your body for regular group CrossFit classes.  We routinely experience people coming to train with us that feel they are already ‘in shape’ and do not feel they need  to ramp up.  Think again!

The emphasis of the On-Ramp sessions is skill development and exposure to our basic movements. It is designed to prepare you to enter our ongoing CrossFit group classes. We will be emphasizing technique — to ensure your safety and to ensure success at the next level.

  • First, we will introduce you to technique and mechanics, THEN increase intensity.
  • We will teach you basic skills that progressively become more technical as you become comfortable.
  • The classes will be capped at around 6-8 participants to ensure that everyone gets the proper attention they deserve.
  • A total of 3 classes are required to attend.  It is important that you attend each of the sessions as these skills build upon each other.
  • We encourage you to start a CrossFit progress journal starting in your On Ramp classes.  Check out THIS link to help you get started with one
  • Shifts in body composition are one of the most motivating ways to measure success (weight shouldn’t matter, how your clothes fit & how you look naked should!). We highly encourage you to take “Before” pictures at the beginning of On-Ramp class.
  • The sooner you sign up, the sooner you will learn CrossFit!

  • The basic fundamental movements of CrossFit
  • Basic gymnastic movements
  • Monostructural movements (rowing, jump rope, running)
  • Olympic lifting and barbell lifts
  • Specific stretching and mobility work

 At the completion of the On Ramp classes you are welcome to attend any of the classes that work well with your schedule.
