CROSSFIT FOR WOMEN

Most women have a lot of questions about Crossfit.  Can I do it?  Will it be imagestoo hard?  Will I get bulky?  One thing we teach women is: You can do anything you want to do.  Some women start CrossFit as someone who wants to lose weight, some to train for a 5K or a marathon, and some women are just looking for something different.  A lot of women are bored of what the typical gym has to offer and want to be healthy and FEEL healthy.  You CAN have both, plus so much more.  How about a whole new group of friends who push and inspire you every day, and a whole new passion that fits perfectly into what you want to do with your life?  Crossfit is empowering.  It’s more then just physical fitness, it’s about mental health as well.  Don’t be afraid or intimidated; we have women of all shapes, sizes, age and fitness levels.  You CAN do it.

You will NOT get bulky with CrossFit.  Women do not have the testosterone levels that men do, therefore women will not “bulk up” unless they are taking additional substances to try to do so.   You will however tone images (1)up and get muscle definition with the weight training that we do.  Weight training also helps develop strong bones.  By stressing your bones, strength training increases bone density and reduces the risk of osteoporosis.  CrossFit will also help you control your weight, manage chronic conditions, boost your stamina, reduce your risk of injury, help you train in your sport, plus so much more!
