  • I’ve spent my share of hours at the local Globo Gyms and saw some results. When I heard of CrossFit and the types of workouts and lifts they do, I had this idea it was too intense and it was a little intimidating. After four months of talking myself in and out of the idea of trying it, I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried it for a week straight. I was immediately hooked. Beyond the results, which there are plenty, I’ve found a new family. The CrossFit atmosphere is unlike anything I’ve been part of. We support and cheer each other on, in our accomplishments and in our defeats. Everyone struggles and the friends I’ve made make working out more fun then I’ve have ever thought it could be. Viking Crossfit has changed my life!

  • I am 63 years old and have had several health problems, including open heart by-pass surgery, 9 stents in my heart, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I have had siatica pain for months and a bad knee. I started doing CrossFit 4 months ago and it’s the best thing I ever did! The trainers programmed the workouts of the day specific for me and my age and health issues. Since I have started doing CrossFit, I have continually progressed each week and now I can do things I never thought I could do again. I am stronger, leaner, and feel better than I have in years! My siatica pain is reduced and my bad knee is getting stronger everyday. I recently went to my cardiologist and my blood pressure and cholesterol are both down. He told me that whatever exercise program I was doing to keep doing it! It’s working! Not only am I feeling better, but the movements I have been taught at the gym are keeping me from injuring myself when I have been lifting things around the house or doing yard work. CrossFit helps me everyday. I see the importance of the movements I learn here at the gym will help keep me functional as I get older and to help me maintain my independence. The trainers at Viking CrossFit have been great. They are very knowledgeable and approachable. Thank you Viking CrossFit for helping me feel better then I have in years! You will see me at the gym for a long time coming.

  • When I started CrossFit I was so self conscious of myself. From the first day I went in everyone was very nice and pushed me through every workout. CrossFit is like a family. They push you through that mental spot that you wouldn’t be able to do on your own. CrossFit is the best thing that has happened to me. I have gained the confidence and I finally feel sexy! I have so much more body strength, and I have had a total transformation in mind and body. I have done things I never dreamed of doing. I have ran a 5k, a 10k in the mud, Tackled the Tower (a 13 story stair climb), and I’m even a belly dancer now. I have lost 50 pounds so far and 4 pant sizes. Crossfit ROCKS baby!

  • I am a 62 yr old mother of 6, grandmother of 15 1/2. When I found myself with less flexibility, less strength & more weight than I wanted, I knew I had to make a change in my life. CrossFit has been the perfect fit for me. The trainers have spent individual time with me, as they do with all their clientele, to modify the workout to my ability. CrossFit has helped to make my everyday life much easier to live. Even after one month, I noticed it was easier just getting on and off the rides at Disneyland with my family. In the 14 months I have been doing CrossFit, I have learned to do things I never thought I would be able to do. I have gained confidence in my ability to try new things ~ even at my age. The trainers are always willing to work with each of us to make sure we have the proper form. They encourage us to do our best. They motivate us to give our all. They have taught us the importance of eating properly in relationship to strength & conditioning. I have lost 35 pounds since beginning CrossFit. Because I am more physically fit, I feel more mentally fit. Thank you to my CrossFit family for the changes they have made in my life. I love you guys!
