After doing CrossFit for the first week, over a year ago, I was hooked. Who doesn’t love a 10 minute workout that leaves you lying on the floor from complete exhaustion?!?! I played softball, basketball and soccer in high school. I had a dual scholarship to play softball and basketball in college. Once that was over, it seemed that there was no where to get my competitive drive out, then I found CrossFit. Crossfit is the perfect combination of fitness for the betterment of your life and your extra curricular activities. CrossFit was naturally appealing to me because of my experience as an athlete who played competitive sports. CrossFit has kept that fire alive and has pushed me to be the best I can be. However, what I love most about Crossfit is seeing people make positive changes and develop good habits, especially kids! I firmly believe that CrossFit will teach kids habits that will change their lives forever. In my free time I love to be with my husband Lee, daughter Kenia, and I am looking forward to the time I will have with our newest little boy when he arrives.
